Metal Snake

Metal snake I used by cutting out a side of 3mm square tube. With the rectangle produced, I cut notches along it's length and curled them, creating loops.

Tube to Plate Welding and Testing

Some pipe to plate practice for college. 

I then cut it open so I could see the penetration into the metal.

I then cut the weld into 4 pieces, then tested the welds by hammering them.

I was using 3mm steel, so maybe not the best thickness to test the welds due to the easy bending. But they held it out so far.

Vertical T-Fillet Weld

Some very sexy vertical MIG welding I did at college. A t-fillet done with a triangle motion, penetrating whilst capping at the same time.

Metal Flower

Metal flower I made using 1mm sheet steel scraps, tubing and nails. I bent/curved the leaves using a combination of vice and anvil.

Sheet Metal Rose So Far

Something I've wanted to do for a while, so started this rose today. Made by cutting and bending 1mm sheet steel into pieces then welded together.

Harrods February Window Display

Finishing and brief spray painting and metalwork I did for models going into Harrod's London store.

V for Vendetta Mask Mould

Fibreglass mould I made from a plastic Guy Fawkes/V for Vendetta mask. Ivory pigment in the gel coat. Nice colour, wish I'd used it on the lay up instead. I had already applied blue PVA and wax to the mould when I took this picture.
